Hallel Paragraph One: Activating Our Souls |

 The nations say, “High above all nations is God,” for they see God as removed from His creation, high up in the heavens. Israel says, “Yet deigns to look upon the heavens and the earth,” for they realize that He pays attention
to even the least significant being.
Only those who acknowledge that He “Lowers Himself to pay attention to us will achieve, “He raises the needy from the dust, from the trash heaps He lifts the destitute,” for it is only in that acknowledgement that the Holy Soul is activated in a way that it can be raised up high.
