 We must understand how God can pray. “May it be My will,” is God not omnipotent? What needs does He have that He must pray for them?But the concept is this: It is written, “I have said that the world is built on live,” (Psalms 89:3) This is the highest Love, with which the entire system of supernal universes was created. This had to come about through a constriction of the Highest Will that desired love. This is called the “Will to Love.” We therefore say, “When His simple will decided.” This is because, in essence, the Infinite Being is above Love. The Will to Love therefore only comes about through constriction, and it can then be transmitted. Nevertheless, even Will comes from the Willer, which is the essence of the Infinite Being, and this is even higher than Will. The concept of Will itself therefore prays to the Willer.
